Delighted with the latest addition to our distillery experience, with a true revival of the old craft of stained glass windows. Working with Bianca was easy as she totally understood our brief. Her interpretation of what we are all about is perfectly reflected in her “New Dawn” piece, proudly displayed in our distillery.

A Stained Glass Window is Something Special

Arts can come in many forms, but a stained glass window is something special. Bianca’s creation of a Kingfisher Bird for me was something wonderful and most unusual.  Hopefully it will last a thousand years and like the stained glass window’s of old – will always be there for others to admire.

Tears sprang into my eyes. It’s so beautiful.

Bianca’s design was perfect

We’ve always loved stained glass, but didn’t think we would be able to find a piece to suit a new doorway into a sunroom, we were building. Then we met Bianca which let us explore the idea of having a piece designed specifically for us. The whole process was delightful. Bianca met us, ideas were shared and the design finally settled upon. Bianca’s design was perfect. Neither too traditional or too modern – just right for the space it is in.

Butterflies & Rainbows

After our recent renovation on our home, we comissioned Bianca to create a special piece for our front door in memory of our daughter Mae. Bianca really listened to our brief, was very enthusiastic, personal and an absolute pleasure to work with on this. We absolutely love the finished piece, creating rainbow reflections right through our house, making us smile every day.

Most Original Stained Glass Work

What attracted us to Bianca’s work in the first instance was her use of colour – the range, the texture, and the tonal variety. The abstract free-flowing designs were so impactful and every time one looked at them there was something new. We considered that the technique, style and freshness created the most original stained glass work currently in Ireland. Later when we commissioned some work she was great to interact with, her enthusiasm was infectious, and the end product accurately reflected her creative interpretation of our broad guideline. We feel lucky to have seen her work originally and now to have the daily pleasure of admiring our own Bianca windows several years on

A Truly Living Work of Art

Placing a commission with Bianca Divito is an exciting and creative voyage of discovery.  Bianca starts by getting to know the client, their hopes, and their interests.  She then assesses the context of the proposed work, as well as practical issues such as light and sight lines.  From this she distils a concept, and then creates a design for mutual discussion.  The result is a visionary artistic treatment which is also technically advanced – a truly living work of art which totally fits yet richly enhances its setting.

What Bianca created far exceeded all our expectations

We commissioned Bianca to create a piece of glass art for our home. It was to commemorate some loved ones who’d passed so we were asking the impossible of her. However what she created far exceeded all our expectations. Natural day light is so important to our mental health but when that light is captured and refracted through the coloured lens of your life entering your home, it provides not just coloured light but rather an embrace that envelops your home it is something to behold. Every day the natural light changes with the seasons as the orchestra of light dances across our floor to the rhythm of times past. The colours move in harmony as they take us on a journey.  This is not simply coloured glass reflections rather this is living art that performs a different ballet every day. Thank you Bianca

So Beautiful, So Memorable & So Special

Thank you Bianca for everything you did in making the stained glass window for my wife Marion’s headstone, so beautiful, so memorable and so special. In taking on this project you immediately inspired confidence throughout the duration of the process and this was important for me. Your communication right through from the initial design idea to the completion was excellent and very professional.

I had no idea that the finished stained glass window would be such a masterpiece and this was reflected in my emotions when I saw it for the first time. This project was a very personal memory and tribute to my late wife Marion, and you made it very extra special for me.

Made Entrance Passage Feel Like A Holy Place

The work Bianca did in the chapel of Cherryfield Lodge structured the space and defined its purpose for the first time.  Moving the lovely Evie Hone ‘Gospel’ windows from their frame at the back of the chapel and mounting them at the top of the entrance passage has not only allowed their beauty to be seen and shine out, it has also made the entrance passage feel like an entrance into a holy place, as indeed it is.

Bianca’s work for us on our refurbishment was just perfect. She listened to us carefully and helped define the scope of work. My Stained Glass Piece Never Fails To Delight

I have always loved stained glass so when I saw Bianca Divito’s work I decided to commission a large stained glass hanging for a window in my new apartment.  The colours and changing light reflections in my stained glass piece vary with the time of day, the sunlight and the seasons, and never fail to delight and add a welcome dimension to my day.  Bianca involves her clients when she is designing and choosing her glass and colours.  I can definitely recommend her work.  She is an artist with talent.

It’s a birthday present that will be treasured for ever

Having received a voucher from family for my birthday, I knew I really wanted a Pillar Lamp and I was excited to ask Bianca to create something special just for me. She is super talented, so easy to work with asking the right questions to narrow down any overflowing ideas I had and the end result …AMAZING! I can’t stop looking at it, day or night. It’s just perfect!
